Small Stuff

What you got if you ain't got love
the kind that you just want to give away
It's okay to open up, go ahead and let the light shine through
I know it's hard on a rainy day you want to shut the world out and just be left alone
But don't run out on your faith

'Cause sometimes that mountain you've been climbing
is just a grain of sand

What you've been up there searching for
forever
is in your hands

When you figure out love is all that matters after all

It sure makes everything else
seem so small

It's so easy to get lost inside a problem
that seems so big at the time
, it's like a river that's so wide it swallows you whole.
While you sit around thinking about what you can't change
and worrying about all the wrong things
time's flying by
, moving so fast
you better make it count
'cause you can't get it back

This song has been speaking to my soul all day. Did you hear what I heard?? X is just a grain of sand. God will take me to the mountain, I don't have to climb it by myself! My Dad has always said be mad for 5 minutes and then let it go. I needed to have a good fit, but I learned something once it was all out. I have a right to be angry, but I will not give X the right to ruin my new life in consuming anger.

I have everything everyone, that matters. Space may be tight, but I've missed my family like crazy for years. I may not have all the details planned, but I have a job interview with a Christian company tomorrow that I'm really excited about; it's a start. I have been covered in prayer, my camp has been circled by angels, bloggers, friends, that have made all the difference.

Time to stop sweatin the small stuff.

Making It Count,
Carolynn

that reminds me of the scripture - beware the little foxes who spoil the vine... (ok, so it's not a direct quote, but I can't remember exactly where it's found and I'm supposed to be doing housework.. grins)

It really is the little things that we let add up to be big mountains that eat at us until we're totally worn down.

Good luck at the interview!

Good girl! Are you dancing it out?
(do you watch Grey's, they like to dance out the problems.)
That girl can SING can't she, makes you want to reach up and praise. And yes, that mountain is just a grain of sand!!!
Wishing you lots and lots of luck tomorrow.

Carolynn,

Ron was reading your post to me the other day and I said to him..she needs to throw an all out temper fit and get it out of her system so she can see the blessings on the other side of the troubles.. My ex used to love to try and get to me... he knew what buttons to push and for a while a good temper tantrum helped me to get past it and see the wonderful things I still had in my life. After a few of those tantrums I realized that he couldn't affect my life or my choices all he could really do was run off at the mouth and threaten this or that.. that is when he stopped being able to get to me. Hang in there girl all my prayers and best positive wishes go out to you and your kids I know you can make it. Trust God, trust yourself.

Take care
Tammy

That job opportunity sounds fabulous. They would be fools not to hire a girl with your faith, enthusiasm, and humor.

Knock their socks off, like I know you can. :)
