Hello, My Name Is Carolynn.
Thank you for your prayers, your support and your love over the last 6 weeks. You have impacted my life in ways I could never put in words. I know for sure your reward in Heaven is great.
I'm not intending to post again on the other blog; it is watched... and I am Free. My children and I are moving home at the end of the month to Family; to Wisconsin! I am still in humbled shock that God gave me a do over. I intend to earn it.
When I was a little girl, my Grams had a weeping willow tree in her backyard. My "Happy Place" is there, in the shade of the Willow Tree, surrounded by love, refreshed with a breeze that filtered cool air and sunshine inside the safety of it's branches. I'm blessed you've come to sit a spell with me.
Much Love,
Carolynn

Hi, Carolynn.
I'm glad you're safe.
(and welcome to Wisconsin!)
Thinking of you as you begin this new chapter of your life. (((hugs)))
I'm so sorry for all you've been through. We ALL need a DO OVER every now and again. Peace to you and yours,
Heather
Hello, Carolynn!
Our Lord is good, and I am so happy He has worked it out for you to move back with family. Praying for you, sister.
aww "carolynn", welcome to a new beginning in so many ways. yes, sweet sister you are free and i am without a doubt one of the many who love you who will be here to support you as you start again. praise God for his protection.
we had a willow tree in our back yard when i was little. my sister and i would climb in its branches and pretend we were princess escaping any evil. there was something so incredibly comforting in putting my arms around (well try to) the base of it and feel so safe and happy.
i hope you are feeling the same way today.
with love,
linda
I'm glad to hear you are safe and sound and free... and I'm sorry for what you've been through lately.
To new beginnings! I'm thrilled for your "do-over"! We will continue praying for you and your children!!
Yay!!! It is your new birthday--a new life for you and your children.
You and the kids will remain in our prayers!
Happy to here that you are finding a new place to call home. Willow trees have always made me happy.
I don't believe that you have to earn this do-over. God so lovingly gives us new beginnings! Accept and enjoy! :-)
Carolynn, your post made me a little teary -- I am so happy that you are moving onward and upward and being able to rejoin your family. I am sure that 2009 will be Your Year.
And I love the new blog name...welcome back!
Glad you are safe and beginning a new life. My thoughts and prayers for you and your children. ((Hugs!))
welcome to a new home
it is a funny thing about blessings and love .. the more you give, the more you get .. by blessing you, you have blessed me .. and vise versa .. God is special like that ..
Carolynn,
I cannot tell you how happy and relieved I am for you. I too got a do over from God. I spent over half of my 18 yr. first marriage looking for an escape from all the pain. I finally got the courage and the help to get away with my 4 kids and start a new life.. that has been over 6 yrs ago. Don't look back there is nothing in the past worth living that way. You have earned your freedom.. enjoy it.. May God Bless you and your kids.
With love
Tammy
What a journey you have been on! I am sorry for my lack of comments recently. I have been pretty absent from the blogging world with everything that is going with my mom, but I am really looking forward to reading about your steps towards healing for your family. You are in my prayers, Carolynn!
I am so glad to hear your "voice". I love you dear sister. I hope that we can get together before your move...we have toys and Wall-E. I have hot chocolate and a starbucks a block away...
Welcome back Carolynn, WELCOME BACK!
I have missed you. I pray for you each day...I am in tears hearing that you are SAFE! Don't forget my number...
Nice to meet the "new" you, Carolynn! I was just thinking/praying about you this afternoon.
God is the God of "do-overs" - so glad you've found yours! Wisconsin is a wonderful place. We used to live in IL, right on the border just south of Lake Genieva - we went up there quite often. And, I know it will be wonderful for you to have family close to support you and the kiddos.
May you be blessed as you make this new beginning and celebrate this season afresh!!!
Wow! Wow! I have been wondering about you and praying for you since the post with Dear Jane letter. I am so praising the Lord for His awesome work, I will pray for a new, beautiful start under your willow tree... blessed to join you in this new chapter!
I am so happy to see you here and see you finally as Carloynn. However, right now your blog won't let me click on "follow you" but I will!
glad to hear you seized this opportunity to start over.
blessings to you and your children.
Oh, Carolynn--so nice to be able to say your real name via blog, too. I am thankful to God for protecting you thus far and providing a way out, even if it means taking you away from the Twin Cities. Still praying for you and your family!
You're back, you're back, you're back. Thrilled to see both your e-mail and your presence in the blogosphere. My next plan of attack was going to be to contact Sara at Greetings from Butterville to see if she had any news. I am glad that is no longer necessary.
I felt such joy for you in reading that you are able to return home. Like Keri said, 2009 will offer many new beginnings for you and your children.
I love your new blog. It is symbolic and different from your old one in many, many ways. For me, your use of the color green represents growth and new beginnings. The willow tree is also, quite simply, lovely.
I have so much more to say, but will stop myself. More to come.
XOXO, F.
Wow! It might take me a little bit to get over thinking of you as Whitney. :-) I'm so happy to hear that you are safe and sound, and that you will be moving close to family. You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers!
CArolynn!!! So glad to see the new blog up and running and excited for your new beginning with the kiddos. Although...selfishly I am going to miss you like crazy when you leave!!! :( Never forget that I am only a phone call away and will be your sounding board whenever you need one. I will never forgt cooking for 7!!! Holy cow was that an adventure!!!!! NOw I know how my Granny felt all those years ago cooking for my mom, aunt and uncles!!!! LOVE YA!!!
Baby sister I hope that you now believe that miracles do truly happen! I am so excited to have you and the kids HOME. We've got an exciting journey ahead of us and I'm thrilled to be along for the ride with you.
Love you!!
I think you are a very strong woman and God will continue to watch over you and your family. I am also glad you are moving closer so that hopefully soon you can meet the girls. There is something to be said of new beginnings and I know you will take full advantage. God Bless
God's grace is given freely and does not have to be earned, but I think I know what you mean. That you want to make the most out of it and be worthy of it.
You ARE.
Prayers and Blessing upon you.
I'm glad you are safe, and I will be praying for you as you begin this new chapter of your life. Blessings!
Greetings and Salutations -
I am glad that you are going to be "passing it on". I now know that the challenges that I have been presented with in the past few years, the knowledge and "experience" that I gained has helped me to help others. Continue to thrive and I know that you will find the right person to impart and share your experiences and wisdom with them to make their load lighter.
Love you,
Super Aunt
