By My Fingernails

I feel like Margaret when Judy Bloom wrote, "Are you there God? It's me..." Carolynn. I'm hanging on by my fingernails today. I know the Bible says when you've done all you can do - STAND. Does on my knees count? I can't believe I'm in His blindspot, but it feels like it. I'm looking for Him, seeking Him, but I can't hear Him. His silence is worse than the noise when my life exploded 6 months ago.

I believe that when we are on our knees in prayer we ARE standing tall - as tall as we can possibly be.

The silence is so hard . . . but He hears you, I am sure of it.

you know this .. this is just to remind you of the things you already have in your heart ..

Job 23:8-10
8 Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:
9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:
10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

Even when you do not know where He is .. He knows where you are

praying for ya, my friend

ISA 43:2 When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.

ISA 43:3 For I am the LORD, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I give Egypt for your ransom,
Cush and Seba in your stead.

ISA 43:4 Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
and because I love you,

God's word for those who are facing difficult times!

Blessings
Robin

I can also highly recommend the devotional book "Streams in the Desert". It is specifically geared for those who are facing difficult struggle in there daily life. It has met me on more than one occasion as I have gone through the various trouble in my life!

His word never fails.

God may be staying silent so that you can hear your own heart. He's always there with you love, whether you hear him or not.

This might be a good time to read "The Fourth Watch" by S Michael Wilcox.
"When our trials go on indefinitely, we should not assume that God does not hear our prayers, or that He does not care, or that we are unworthy. Perhaps we have not yet reached the "fourth watch."

He is there, C! *hugs*
